Describe the problem:
The koinly app isn’t recognizing the most recent transactions in the metamask wallet, specifically those on the polygon net.
Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?
Metamask
How did you import data into this wallet?
**What have you tried to fix this so far?**I’ve contacted metamask support for insight and help with the issue.
Hello. I use MetaMask with Polygon network and it works well. I’d recommend you to sync your wallet again in order to see the latest transaction. Alternatively, I’d delete the wallet and add it again.
Thanks for the tip. I’m curious, did you also link the separate polygon wallet to koinly? I tried to but it wouldn’t work.
You are welcome. I don’t have a separate polygon wallet. I use metamask with added polygon network only. I did a few transactions this morning and they did now show immediately in Koinly until I pushed the sync wallet icon on the right hand side (three dots).
Alright. I don’t really have a separate polygon wallet either but had to use a polygon net wallet to bridge from the net to the metamask wallet.
I think Stargate the fastest way of bridging today. You just choose a coin and a network and all happens in approx. 90 seconds. Here: stargate
Ok thanks again, I I’ll check it out.
I did some research on Stargate and some think it’s not as safe as it could be, and I also found this alternative project. (https://www.maplabs.io/)
Hi All,
Thank you, @Dmitrij_Motley for continually sharing your approaches throughout the threads, man!
Additionally, if anyone is using the Metamask wallet option in Koinly to try and set up their Polygon wallet, this may not work as the Metamask wallet in Koinly only sync with Ethereum transactions. Koinly would advise to use the “Polygon” wallet option in Koinly, even if you used Metamask to execute the transactions on the network.
If that doesn’t seem to be the problem then it’s best if you email us so we can check your wallets and see what’s going on.
Cheers, everyone ~ Have an awesome day!
