I have to buy Pro just because of Nicehash?

Describe the problem:
I started mining cryptocurrencies at the beginning of the year (March), now I have started to deal with the taxes (Germany) and became aware of you. The Nicehash transactions were imported without problems, but now I looked at the plan I had to buy and found that I had over 3000 transactions thanks to Nicehash.

I would have to get the Pro model (~280USD), for me a student who only does this on the side with only one graphics card (rtx3080), this is just way too much. I made about 1800€ in revenue (BTC 50,000€, mostly unrealized), so over 13% of revenue. And if I deduct all costs probably more than half of my profit.

Isn’t that a bit much? Is there any way to pay the “Newbie Plan” or maximum the “Holder Plan”? Otherwise I can’t use your great software.

I’m right there with you, friend. It was very disappointing when I had to fork out the extra money for a higher tier plan. One solution I am experimenting with is having NiceHash mine directly to my Coinbase wallet. If I am interpreting this NiceHash support article correctly, by directing your mining income to a wallet other than the internal NiceHash wallet, you could significantly reduce the amount of transactions that goes into determining your plan eligibility. I suggest reading through the article yourself to determine whether or not you are comfortable with this method, because there are a few critical things to note. First, the reason this method reduces the number of transactions is because you effectively change your payout schedule and your minimum payment threshold. This means that you will have to wait quite a bit longer to see your earnings in your wallet. Also of note is the fact that NiceHash no longer officially supports this method (I interpret this as “working, but at your own risk.”)

If there are multiple payouts a day you can use the merge function to merge those transactions. Might be tedious but it’s worth a shot.
