# How to manually reduce tokens on hand without impacting price?

I can’t figure out how to manually reduce the number of tokens without impacting basis or losses or anything else.

Any entries I try to make, even when setting their value to zero, always have a financial impact, when I just need to find a way to reduce the count of any token I have.

This is to offset another workaround I had to implement, which is resulting in too many tokens.
