Hi if I buy $1,000 of Etherium for my sister and then send it to her, how do I record this in Koinly and what are the repercussions for me doing this for her? Thanks ---

Hi Juanita, I would not recommend importing transactions that were made on behalf of someone else. If you have purchases like this then it is best to delete them since they are not your assets and they should not affect your taxes. Leaving these transactions in your account could affect your calculated gains but it depends on other factors such as cost-basis method, current holdings, and even some special rules that some countries use.
