Ftm to sonic upgrade

Hi I had ftm on crypto.com and they upgraded it to sonic, I have put this information into koinly and it says I have capital gains. Now I had nothing to do with this myself and I changed its status to swap, but this still says I have gains. Will you be looking at this so I can put in upgrade or something as I didn’t dispose of this. Cheers Rich

If you’ve changed the FTM → S transaction to a ‘swap’ but still see gains, your account may be set to the UK, where the swap tag does not apply.

To remove the gains, you can manually adjust the transaction (no tax advice):

  1. Copy the cost of FTM.

  2. Edit the transaction and change the worth of the token.

  3. Paste the copied cost as the worth.

This will eliminate the gains from the transaction.
