Failed transactions mess up the calculation of the following transactions afterward

Describe the problem:

So I have a fresh new wallet (ETH-chain) with let’s say 1.1 ETH in it (transferred from other wallet)

I tried to swap 1.02 ETH for a token and got this error on etherscan tx:

“Fail with error ‘UniswapV2Router: INSUFFICIENT_OUTPUT_AMOUNT’
Contract 0123456789abcdefghi (Uniswap V2: Router 2)
Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Reverted]”

So Koinly recorded it as “Cost” and has “Transaction failed, only fee deducted” warning next to it.

BUT it seems that the koinly calculation counted the transaction as success (since the tx involved sending 1.02 ETH to the smart contract).

Because of that, now I got these warnings from Koinly on the follow up transactions:

Exchange -1 ETH → 123 ABCDE token
!Missing purchase history for 1 ETH

Exchange -0.05 ETH → 456 FGHIJ token
!Missing purchase history for 0.05 ETH

And so on and so on.

BTW none of the follow up transactions failed on etherscan. They were successful.

Please Koinly, how to fix this? And can you guys look into it so that the system wont have this issue anymore?

Now I have to check every “Cost” transactions on Koinly and double check if this issue repeats itself.
