Describe the problem:
Unable to export open transactions later than current tax year, even after purchase.
I’d like to (1) have a backup, (2) ability to analyze P/L per trade, (3) take my hard work anywhere, and (4) ability to switch cost basis method without messing up filings for previous years.
Other competitors provide this simple export at the end of every year. The End of Year Holdings report is a nice high-level overview, and the Transactions Reports are great info for current year. But none of these reports list current open positions, that started before Jan 1st.
