Anyone else having this issue in Eth wallets ? ERC20 tokens showing 0 reported balance even though the calculated balance matches real balance based on wallet.
Same here, I also had an API warning so I deleted the wallet and added it again, but it’s still showing 0 as the reported balance. The Calculated Balance is correct.
Anyone find any work arounds to have ERC 20 tokens show up ?
If the calculated balance is correct, it means that there is nothing to worry about.
Here is a brief explanation about these two balances you see in Koinly:
When you sync your wallets, two types of balances are shown. Reported Balances and Calculated Balances.
Reported balances are the balances that the API reports but in some cases, these balances can be wrong - most commonly when staking (as some APIs don’t consider staked assets when reporting the balances), when you have open orders, or when there are manual transactions,.… These balances are only for visual (no effect on the reports) and you can see them on the wallet holdings and the dashboard.
Calculated balances are the ones that Koinly calculates based on the imported transactions. These are the balances that matter as they are the ones you will see on your tax report and you have to make sure are accurate.
You can also check out API sync > Ignore reported balances.
Also, deleting and recreating the wallet fixes some of these visual errors which I recommend you do if you do not have manual adjustments in the wallet.
