Does Koinly detect duplicate transactions?

Hi…

Does anyone know if Koinly automatically detects duplicate transactions…?

For example if I import a CSV of all my transactions from an exchange then 1 week later import all my transactions again, will it automatically ignore the duplicate ones and just add the new transactions form the last week? Or will it create duplicate entries for all the old transactions?

Hi JB,

Koinly will indeed detect and ignore all of the duplicates if both of the files follow the same format (which they usually do, if they were both exported from the same exchange).

This detection does not work when mixing together API and CSV files - It only works when using CSV files exclusively
