Hello

I have used several applications to do “decentralized finance” but Koinly is visibly lost and the result is very bad for the tax declaration

Example with the “BEEFY Finance” application
I place 2,262 BINSPIRIT in a pool of the “BEEFY Finance” application
Koinly’s output is as follows:
3 Transactions were created with the same identifier (Tx Hash):

  • Send: 2,262 BINSPIRIT
  • Receive: 2,105 MOOBINSPIRIT
  • Receive: 0.00000002 WFTM
    As these 3 transactions have the same identifier (Tx Hash) I want to link them by doing a Merge.
    Koinly tells me that the Merge operation went well. But in fact the 3 transactions are not merged. The merge does not work

Do you have a solution ? (No return from the Koinly team by email after several reminders)

Koinly (even though it advertises as such) does NOT do DeFi. you can do two tokens and an LP merge and that’s where it ends. Everything like Curve/Balancer and tons of others you’re on your own. Hours and hours of manual editing…

This is very bad news but I had understood by their silence that there was a problem / limit to the Koinly tool.

Unfortunately, decentralized finance has become in 2021 one of the bases of cryptocurrency.

100% agreed. The apps that get LP/Defi right so far are Cointracker and Accointing. And then they lack in other areas. Also of course the amount of work that has already gone into Koinly only to realize that they aren’t catching up fast enough on the promised feature sets.
