# Crypto.com cashback

**Describe the problem:**  
I have the [crypto.com](http://crypto.com) debit card. I get cro.x cashback when I use the debit card. The cro.x cashback should be non-taxable in USA (from what I understand). I noticed that the “rewards” tag is being used. Is that right? My thought is that if its tagged as rewards then the cashback will be taxed. Please help me understand how to handle this situation… I was hoping [koinly.io](http://koinly.io) would automatically calculate that correctly.
