# Coinbase Pro - Access Denied

**Describe the problem:** Is there any reason that Koinly will not sync with my Coinbase Pro account. I have tried 2 different APIs. I am entering all of the correct information from Coinbase Pro. I keep getting an Access Denied error. I do not have Whitelisting enabled on CBP. Having the same issue with Kucoin. That said, Coinbase and Gemini both sync fine.

**Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?** Coibase Pro and Kucoin

**How did you import data into this wallet?** API

**What have you tried to fix this so far?** Create new API’s and confirm I am entering correct information

I had the same issue. Are you entering the API Key correctly? It’s not the same as the API Key nickname that you picked. Head over to [Coinbase Pro | Digital Asset Exchange](https://pro.coinbase.com/profile/api) and you’ll see some hash associated with the API that you created and that’s the key. Maybe try this?
