I tried to sync my centrifuge address on polkadot
either i’m receiving “The address is invalid” response or
Generic Substrate chain address is not supported - when allowed use on any chain
any idea whats wrong? Same address was used when sync was done 1-2 years ago.
can somebody pls try to help?
If I put the address in generice format I’m receiving:
“Generic Substrate chain address is not supported”
If I put the address in Centrifuge only mode I’m receiving:
“The address is invalid”
What I’m suppose to do. your video how to do is outdated. Can somebody pls help its really basic feature which is not working

Just to add same issue is for other polkadot address, e.g tried with Kilt address.

As for other clients dealing with this issue, you’d need to add your public address for Polkadot, as we do not support substrate addresses.
