# Calculated holdings v reported

Hi,

This has probably been asked many times but I’m a first time self assessment filer.  
On my Kucoin wallet it is reporting BTC and Eth I don’t have, I started with auto sync via API and was missing loads of transactions so I manually imported the CVS files and I still have balances that shouldn’t be there, I have lost tokens on BitZ and Cryptopia but I can’t remember what was on the exchange when they went down or the dates, so my question is what is the most stress free way I can sort out my balances which is allowable by HMRC, would it be OK if I just put in a manual transaction with current market value?.

Remember not to import CSV files into a synced wallet as it is one common reason for incorrect balances.
