# Bybit API off Line - asked to upload CSV but they wont map

**Describe the problem:**  
My API for Bybit wont sync. It is asking me to upload CSV files from Bybit. When I try to do that, they say they wont map. Try excel. When I try to do that, it wont map either. What to do?

**Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?**  
Bybit

**How did you import data into this wallet?**  
CSV and xl

**What have you tried to fix this so far?**  
I have tried to upload an excel file (from google drive) and resync the API. Neither works.

The CSV must be sent to you by Bybit support - self exported files will not work.

No worries, it’s a pain but unfortuantely this is the only way.

You may even get an automated reply from Bybit telling you to download the files yourself - just reply back to them saying “no i cannot”

Fingers crossed the upgraded API is added to Koinly soon 🤞
