This morning I noticed an alert in Koinly that the balances calculated by Koinly for my USDT and BNB didn’t match the balances reported by the Binance API.
I went through the transactions and noticed that Koinly had not imported two transactions, buying and then later selling LINK against USDT. The transactions resulted in a small loss that Koinly wasn’t accounting for in my USDT balance. The transaction fees were paid with BNB, thus the BNB discrepancy.
More recent transactions I have made through Binance had been imported, so the LINK transactions were simply skipped over. It is possible that some other bug caused this issue, but the two missed transactions were the only ones I have made that involved LINK, so it appears that LINK, or the LINK/USDT pair, is likely the issue.
I have manually entered those two transactions now and Koinly no longer shows any balance discrepancy.
