I’ve synced my Algorand wallet after receiving Algo from staking, but the rewards do not show in Koinly. Koinly only shows the initial balance after I first transferred Algo to my wallet.
Algorand does stake in an interesting way. There’s not a separate transaction for the rewards. The rewards are just added automatically to your Algo amount (Algorand Wallet). I wonder if this is why Koinly has trouble knowing the correct balance, since it will differ from the initial balance, but the Algorand wallet has no other events to sync.
Any help on how to get Koinly to show the correct Algo balance would be much appreciated!
What I did was manually add a new transaction where the receiving wallet received ALGO in the amount of ALGO originally sent minus the fee. I also set the time and date to the same as the original transaction. Koinly will see this new transaction and since the amount is now less than the original sent amount (because of the fee) Koinly will sync connect your original ‘sent’ transaction with this new ‘received’ transaction
I then added a new transaction under ‘reward’ for the amount of the ALGO reward i received in the process.
When I confirmed it all went ok, I then went to the original ‘received’ (not the new one I just made), and did a soft delete.
