# 2023 tax report Kraken ETH rewards reporting as income again

**Describe the problem:**  
I’ve earned approx 2 ETH in rewards from staking on Kraken for two years. The past two years, Koinly has reported this as income. Now the rewards are converted to ETH 2.0 and Koinly reports approx $4,000 income for 2023. I’ve already paid taxes on these rewards in 2021 and 2022 based on Koinly.

It also says I have $603 in capital gains. I haven’t made any trades this year besides converting small balances to BNB in Binance. When I look under the 14 trades, it only adds up to a couple dollars.

**Which exchange/wallet is this regarding?**  
Kraken

**How did you import data into this wallet?**  
Synced Kraken with Koinly.

**What have you tried to fix this so far?**  
Nothing so far.
